The Royal Phnom Penh Hospital is a private tertiary care hospital located in Cambodia’s capital city of Phnom Penh. It was built according to international standards and, as a medical facility, everything about it was conceptualized, planned, and constructed according to the criteria of JCI (Joint Commission International), which is an international organization assessing a medical facility to make sure it meets the high international standards and requirements involved in providing medical treatment and care.
Designed for safety and convenience The eight-storey medical facility standing on 24,000 square meters of land combines modernity and convenience, with a helipad on the roof deck of the building designed for easy patient transfers via helicopter.
On the Ground Floor are located the Administration Office, a Doctors’ Lounge, Cafeteria & Kitchen, CSSD, Laboratory, and other important parts of hospital operation.
The First Floor houses the Out-Patient departments for Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, Cardiology, Eye, ENT, and General Check-Up. On this floor one will also find the Emergency & Trauma Center that has eight beds and is considered the first EMS of its kind and quality in Phnom Penh. The Radiology Department is also on this floor.
Meanwhile, OPD for Obstetrics & Gynecology and Pediatrics are situated on the 2nd Floor, along with the Dentistry Department (4 rooms), Rehabilitation, Meetings Rooms, and others.
On the 3rd Floor, one will find the ICU (14 rooms), Hemodialysis Unit (5 rooms), LDR (4 rooms), NICU (2 rooms), GI Endoscopy (2 rooms), Surgery (5 rooms), and Recovery (6 beds). The Cath Lab and CCU for heart patients are also located on this floor.
Up on the 4th Floor are 22 luxuriously designed patient rooms, each with modern amenities and convenience, while on the 5th Floor is located the Patient Ward, consisting of the Post Partum Ward and the Nursery, as well as a General Ward. The 6th and 7th Floors are for staff accommodation.
