|About||Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's Design Build Fly chapter and club.|
Design/Build/Fly (DBF) is an international aircraft design competition in which student teams from universities across the world design, build, and fly a remote controlled aircraft. Each year the American Institute for Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) presents a new design challenge requiring the creation of a completely new aircraft. The competition is sponsored by the AIAA, Cessna Aircraft, and Raytheon Missile Systems and is focused on the development of unmanned aerial vehicles. You can find out more about the competition at the Design/Build/Fly website: http://www.aiaadbf.org/.
If you are a student interested in joining, we meet in Ricketts 403 every Tuesday and Thursday from 8 to 10. Feel free to stop by and see us! We promise we won't bite!
Also a shout out to our sponsors: RPI's MANE department, RPI's Engineering Department, Boeing, Solid Works, Hobby Town, and President Shirley Ann Jackson. Thank you all for your continued support. We appreciate everything you do for us.
