We are a branch of the RSPCA raising money locally to support local animals.
Our Branch is run by a Committee of locally elected volunteers.
|Mission||To prevent cruelty, promote kindness and alleviate suffering to all animals.|
The Hertfordshire East Branch of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals was established in 1962 in order to raise money for local animal welfare.
The Branch is run by volunteers.
The office is based in Letchworth and is open Monday to Friday normally between the hours of 9am to 6pm and closed at for an hour at lunchtime.
You can contact the office on 01462 672278 or 07500 967145.
The area covered by the Hertfordshire East Branch includes Ashwell, Baldock, Buntingford, Great Offley, Harpenden, Hertford, Hitchin, Letchworth Garden City, Oaklands, Royston, Stevenage, the Hadhams, Walkern, Ware, Welwyn, Welwyn Garden City and Wheathampstead.
Unfortunately we do not have an Animal Centre to visit, but you can arrange to visit any animal you are enquiring about once your home visit has been successfully completed. All animals are either in a private cattery, kennels or with fosterers within our local area.
The Hertfordshire East Branch is a separate, fully registered Charity in its own right and money raised is used for looking after local animals in our care and helping families who have fallen on hard times to look after their family pets if medical treatment is needed.
Thank you to all who give both time and money!
