|About||Elect Ryan K. Rice as County Attorney on May 22, 2018!|
My name is Ryan K. Rice, and I am a candidate in the upcoming 2018 election for County Attorney of Muhlenberg County. I have had the privilege of serving as Assistant County Attorney for Muhlenberg County since August of 2012, and believe now is the right time for me to seek election for this office.
I was born and raised in Muhlenberg County, as my entire immediate family lives here as well. I graduated as Co-Valedictorian in the 2003 senior class of Muhlenberg North High School. I proceeded with my undergraduate studies at Western Kentucky University, graduating with academic honors in the spring of 2007. Subsequently, I obtained my juris doctor degree from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law in May of 2010, and was admitted to the practice of law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky on October 15, 2010.
Upon my admission to the Kentucky Bar Association, I returned home to Greenville. I live with my beautiful wife of five years, Summer Smith Rice, along with our precious daughter, Reagan Kayte.
I was hired by the County Attorney, Darris Russell, as his assistant in August of 2012. I have performed any and all necessary functions of the county attorney during my tenure. I remain dedicated to the betterment of Muhlenberg County, and committed to the well-being and safety of its citizens.
No other candidates possess the experience and training that I have accumulated over these past five years. I am the candidate best prepared to lead the office of County Attorney in 2018 and beyond. I sincerely appreciate your vote and support in the upcoming 2018 primary and general elections.
