Mission The Saint John Paul II National Shrine is a place of pilgrimage and the veneration of Saint John Paul II, and above all, the worship of God. The Shrine and its programs respond to John Paul II’s call for a New Evangelization by communicating the inherent relationship of religion and culture to all interested parties through its liturgy and prayer, education and Christian formation, exhibits and conferences.
Description Hours of Operation:
Shrine: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily
Exhibit: The exhibit on Saint John Paul II is open every day except Good Friday, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Gift Shop: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily

Liturgical Schedule:

Monday to Saturday
12 noon - Holy Mass (preceded by the Angelus)

Sunday
11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Holy Mass

Relic veneration daily in the Luminous Mysteries Chapel
