Description We are a small family farm located in Ulster County NY. Our goal is a simple one; to offer outstanding, fresh, local food to our friends and community. We offer fresh eggs from our pasture raised hens, fresh chicken and turkey, as well as pasture raised pigs. Because grass does not grow year round in the northeast some items are only available seasonally. Our animals are raised outside in the sunshine and fresh air in small numbers to ensure quality, animal care and comfort. What began as a way to provide the healthiest and freshest food for our family has become something we are deeply passionate about. Some may view our vision of farming as "nostalgic" but we feel the alternative being, bigger, faster, cheaper is a business model we choose to steer clear of. We do not offer the cheapest food in town but think the products we offer are far superior than what is available in a chain food store and most likely was shipped a vast distance. As our business grows we hope to offer a more diverse range of products as well as products from other local area farmers and producers. We are open to new ideas and are eager to hear what the consumer is looking for from their local farmer. Our hope is to join the ranks of other local Hudson Valley farmers and producers who have started what some have called a "food renaissance" and be able to provide the informed consumer with delicious, local food as well as educate people of the benefits of supporting their local farmers and producers.
