Description Award winning aluminium joinery specialist company Shearmac was established in 1989 and from small beginnings with a staff of five has grown to over twenty including directors Lyell Shearer, Lynne McDonald and Karl Burmester.

Shearmac’s main office and factory is based in Methven, a spectacular short drive south of Christchurch.

For your convenience Shearmac has available showroom and meeting facilities in three locations Methven, Greymouth and Rolleston. Our Methven office and showroom is located at 4 Line Road Methven, our Rolleston Office is based in the easy accessible location of the Izone business park Unit 2/35 Illinois drive (by appointment only). Our West Coast office and showroom are based on the main highway between Paroa and Greymouth, 237-241 Main South Road Greymouth.

Our sales reps have an extensive knowledge of the aluminium industry and they also have had experience as builders so they can add some practical advice to your building dream. We are not here just to sell you aluminium, we want you to have the best product for your own individual project. Our quotes are all inclusive, no ‘added extras’

Shearmac provide a full service from initial contact through to a full inspection of your window and door joinery upon its installation by your preferred builder. Shearmac is a member of the Window Association of New Zealand (WANZ)
