What is the Malaysian Night?
The Malaysian Night is an inter-university event which will be held annually within Sheffield within World Week (a well publicized week of events within the union where national societies are invited to perform) to bolster attendance. We are aiming for an attendance of around 300 people, targeting all International Societies in Sheffield/Sheffield Hallam University. As of the current moment, the night is planned to have Malaysian cultural performances, a drama production, Malaysian food and an after party. The event is estimated to start from 1800 and last till 2230 hours.
With this event we hope to achieve the following objectives:
• Promotion of Malaysian Culture
• Social meeting and integration
• Expression of talents of oneself
