1950's Style family friendly Soda Shop, w/ "Chocolate Shoppe" Ice Cream, Shakes, Malts, Root Beer Floats, Smoothies, Grasshoppers, Alexanders & more
This Historic Soda Shop dates back to the Mid 1800's. Once owned by Governor Harvey during the Civil War, the store has always been a General Mercantile holding elections, town meetings, once a post office, to most known as The Shopiere Store owned by the Kopp family from 1950 til the late 80's. Ran as a Soda Fountain & General Store it was known as the gathering place for all around. You could get your fresh ground burger from the meat counter to a house made fountain drink, we are proud to have breathed life back into this fixture in our community.
