|About||Solken Technology is a company with the vision of possessing technology products that benefit society whether that be through education, environmental or for pure leisure.|
Solken Technology was initially founded by Solomon Antoine and Ken Nguyen who had both just completed their Junior year of high school. The first ideas of the company consisted of phone cases and chargers which inspired the two to start the first project, a fidget spinner phone case charger. As the two continued to work on the first project help came and gone, except for Abdi Yusuf and D’Angelo Tines who are current members of Solken Technology LLC. The company temporarily scrapped the first project for FAVR.
FAVR is a two-way platform for people to request a task at their own price to be completed for them.
These tasks include transportation, food delivery, and outdoor chores. It is our primary focus and we hope to entice investors for the development of the app. We have launched a beta version to our high school during our school wide fundraisers, which we donated 75% of revenue to. FAVR will be released to app stores March 2018 or sooner. In addition to FAVR, Solken also operates "The 507Store" an online retail store that sells to Rochester and the surrounding areas. It was launched 12/30/2017.
Furthermore though, Solken Technology has propelled, with the help of the Rochester Entrepreneur Community businesses such as: Area 10 Labs, Collider, 1Million Cups, Dunlap & Seeger, and Techstars Startup Weekend. The company intends to utilize its resources and soon hopes to receive funding via crowdfunding and business accelerators to jump-start FAVR and the company.
