|About||The SPC Foundation is charged with raising funds that support the educational programs of South Plains College and the dreams of its students.|
The South Plains College Foundation, chartered in 1979, grew from the vision of the late Gary Stacy, a prominent local businessman and College Regent, who saw the need to promote and further the educational interests of South Plains College. The Foundation, which holds a 501(c)3 tax-exempt classification with the Internal Revenue Service, is charged with raising funds for the purpose of supporting the educational programs of the college and educational dreams of its students.
Assistance takes the form of scholarships, professional development endowments, capital improvements, program enrichment and other related vehicles. The Foundation serves the entire college system with campuses in Levelland, Lubbock and Plainview, Texas.
