Speakers Idol cover
Description Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center for Holocaust Studies proudly presents Speakers Idol, our annual public speaking competition. Our 2016 program invites students between grades 6-12 to write three-minute speeches addressing the following quotation from Holocaust Survivor Simon Wiesenthal, who dedicated his life to the pursuit of social justice:

“The history of man is a history of crimes and history can repeat. So information is the best defense. Through this, we can build, we must build, a defense against repetition.”
