Mission Our Outreach Mission ~ Our mission is to give back to the community which supports us. Each month we make a significant donation from Thrift Shop proceeds to one of 12 local charitable organizations In addition the Thrift Shop funds special projects at St. Barnabas Church as the need arises. The Thrift Shop also makes a substantial contribution monthly to the operating fund of the church as well as the Canterbury Campus Ministry of the Episcopal Church.
Description The Thrift Shop, now located at 1328 Grand Ave., Ste. F in Grover Beach, CA is a not-for-profit outreach ministry of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church which is located at 301 Trinity Ave. in Arroyo California. We serve the community by recycling a wide range of donated articles. We offer clean, usable clothing, kitchenware, gifts and other items which we sort, repair and sell at very reasonable prices. Come in and bring us your gently worn clothes, or household items. Or come in and shop! We donate a percentage of our sales back to many worthy community non-profits! We accept donations of gently used clothing and housewares during store hours, and we are looking for volunteers.
