St. Paul Lutheran School in Thorndale, Texas was founded in 1890. We are a Christian day school serving families of students from 3 years-old through 8th grade. St. Paul offers a Christ-centered education to church and community families. The Pre-K program is licensed by the State of Texas, and K-8 is accredited by both national and state accreditation bodies. St. Paul Lutheran School is a mission of St. Paul Lutheran Church, a member of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS).
St Paul has been fully accredited through the National Lutheran School Accreditation Commission (NLSAC) and the Texas Education Agency (TEA) through the Texas Private School Accreditation Commission (TEPSAC) since August 2007.
St. Paul encourages students through challenging academics, high, moral standards, and extracurricular activities to help develop our students gifts and talents. St. Paul students are Concordia High School Invitational Spelling Bee Champions for 2015, 2016, and 2017. We are Private School Interscholastic Association (PSIA) district champions for elementary and middle school for two years running, 2016 and 2017. Our Varsity Volleyball team (6-8 Grades) won the Lutheran Volleyball Championship of Texas (Division 2) in 2016.
