The mission of SPAGSTL is to help nonprofits grow, thrive and excel.
Strategic Partnership Alliance of Greater St. Louis (SPAGSTL) is a membership-based organization formed to serve the needs of the Greater St. Louis metropolitan area and Southern Illinois growing the non-profit sector. SPAGSTL was born out the nonprofit arm of Holton and Nolan Consulting Services pilot project Philanthropy In Partnership. In 2016, Holton and Nolan Consulting Services noticed that many of the nonprofits who contacted them for grant writing services lacked grant readiness. To address this deficiency, Holton and Nolan Consulting Services created a pilot non-profit project which offered workshops and training to those clients who lacked financial resources to hire a grant writer and lacked grant readiness. As a result of the pilot project under Holton and Nolan Consulting Services, it was decided that a nonprofit was needed to address the specific needs of start-up nonprofits and small nonprofits in the St. Louis metropolitan area and Southern Illinois and Strategic Partnership Alliance of Greater St. Louis was born.
