Taos Day School is designed to meet the needs of students in transition from childhood to adolescence. The School program will engage in the development of knowledge, abilities, and attitudes needed for students to function effectively in a diverse society.
Taos Day School must engage students as collaborative workers through understanding of self and others. The school will develop and use effective leadership, communications and group skills in a variety of settings.
Taos Day School will enable students to become responsible self-directed learners. The school will emphasize the connections between content areas and focus on skills for lifelong learning.

|Description||Taos Day School is located in northern New Mexico, 3 miles from the town of Taos, in the heart of a genuine cultural treasure: The Taos Pueblo. Taos Day School educates tribal students five days a week, from Kindergarten through Eighth Grade, in a secure and nurturing environment. Educational and personal enrichment opportunities include a wide range of courses, clubs, intramural sports, and extra-curricular activities.|
