|About||Tehillah farm is nestled in the Kammanasie Mountains near the little town of De Rust.|
Tehillah farm produces fresh pomegranates, figs, lucern and various other products that add value to the produce (such as jams, juices, dried fruit, etc.)
It is also a privilege to have wild life living and interacting on the farm. Tehillah is committed to sharing the environment with wildlife and writing off a percentage of our produce to sustain various species of wildlife on the farm. Tehillah is a large farm approx. 1280 ha, which incorporates two high plateaux with a valley in between and a large mountain catchment. The farming activities take place in the valley and the rest of the farm is left as exclusive areas for the wild life that live on the farm.
There are many ‘exclusion’ areas on the farm where farming is not taking place and people are not encouraged to visit. These areas are left alone to allow the wildlife to live undisturbed. Birdlife is also encouraged on the farm and there has been a noticeable increase in numbers over the past decade. Thus far, 120 different species of birds have been recorded on Tehillah.
There is also a pristine mountain catchment area above the farm and the water coming from the kloof is of excellent quality.
