ThatsGoodness strives to enhance the global arts platform by empowering socially conscious and independent artists to create, showcase and distribute socially pertinent, educational and powerful works of art
Operating on three year cycles Thatsgoodness will build local support for an artist in year one, expand that artist’s support base to national in year two and then take them on an international health conference/benefit tour in year three. During all three monumental years in this young artist’s career s/he will be working between 5 and 20 hours a week in public schools as a teacher artist. Multiply the intended effect by 5 and you have Thatsgoodness. Every three years Thatsgoodness will produce, record, and promote five artists whose music is dedicated to human rights. The same five artists will work in/with public schools as music educators, in areas where music and art has been cut. After three years we add five more artists to the roster potential and do it all again.
