A few words about comments on this page:
It’s a good day for us when our reporting leaves readers feeling outraged, and this Facebook page is a great place to air that outrage. But we also want our page to be as inclusive and constructive as possible — as well as being appropriate for a PG-13 audience — that means laying down a few ground rules for comments.
Here’s an overview of the types of comments that are subject to moderation:
- Any and all remarks that include a threat on another person’s life.
- Name-calling or personal attacks that do not clearly contribute to the conservation.
- “Spam” comments that are off-topic or clearly repetitive.
- Comments in a language other than English IF the meaning cannot be easily discerned from an online translator.
Lastly, for everyone’s information, Facebook automatically hides comments written in ALL-CAPS. We will manually un-hide comments in ALL-CAPS (provided they meet the other terms outlined above), but won’t be able to do so immediately.
