The Center for Wooden Boats preserves and celebrates the Northwest's maritime heritage through a variety of hands-on activities and classes.
The Center for Wooden Boat provides a gathering place where maritime history comes alive through direct experience and our small craft heritage is enjoyed, preserved, and passed along to future generations.
Come to CWB for hands-on maritime experiences using our fleet of historic wooden boats. You can visit us in Seattle or on Camano Island. Our livery (our fleet of boats for rent) operates year-round renting sail and rowboats to the public. We also offer many classes in sailing and other skills for adults and youth as well as one-on-one sailing lessons. Many events happen at The Center for Wooden Boats and you are invited to explore our docks every day of the year.
