The CEO Institute - A meeting of minds
The CEO Institute was founded in 1992 by Ken Gunn - currently Chairman & CEO - as a peer to peer membership organisation for Chief Executives and in 2011 became the world's first global certification body for CEOs. The CEO Institute was established to help business leaders connect with their peers and learn from them. It is Australia's leading networking group for senior executives who want to be better informed and more effective business leaders.
The first meeting of The CEO Syndicate® program was held in Melbourne in June 1992. After establishing its reputation in Melbourne, The CEO Institute opened an office in Adelaide in 1996 and offices in Sydney and Brisbane in 1997. The Perth office was opened in 2007.
In 2013 The CEO Institute partnered with UNESCO in supporting the "Malala Fund for Girls' Right to Education".

The CEO Syndicate, the flagship program of The CEO Institute, is an exclusive peer support network for CEOs and business leaders. It offers experiential learning and mutual group mentoring.
Each month, peer group Syndicates of about 16 CEOs and senior executives from non-competing organisations meet for problem solving, knowledge sharing and mutual support through informal discussion. Membership of The CEO Syndicate program is by invitation only.
The CEO Institute also conducts a program which helps equip the next-generation of business leaders. This is the Future CEO™ program, which is a certification course designed by the business leaders of today for the business leaders of tomorrow.
It provides a proven path to success, using a mix of facilitated and experiential learning to enhance members’ existing management and leadership skills and fast-track their career potential.
This equips them with the knowledge, skills and contacts needed to take over the reins.
Each Future CEO group is chaired by a highly-qualified chairman-facilitator with both professorial credentials and business experience.
