Description |
The DoSeum is San Antonio’s museum for kids! It is comprised of a series of three, two-story exhibit halls totaling 65,000 square feet. Between each exhibit hall, glass facades create daylight-flooded transitional spaces that connect visitors to the additional 39,000 square feet of outdoor exhibit yards. Envisioned as a museum set in a park, the building is surrounded by meandering pathways that offer a sense of surprise, beautiful gardens that captivate the senses and shady places for families to relax or for school groups to unwind. Children learn 21st-century problem-solving skills and creativity -two important cultural and educational concepts. With six major permanent exhibition spaces, a 3,000-square-foot special exhibit gallery, and 39,000 square feet of outdoor exhibit yards, The DoSeum has much to discover and explore, allowing kids to create and learn on a grand scale. |
