All our food is freshly prepared in-house and cooked to order using local fresh produce, while maintaining old-fashioned traditional values. Dishes such as calves liver and bacon with bubble and squeak topped with caramelized onions and a rich gluten free gravy, to our famous Sunday roast with all the trimmings and those crispy roast potatoes. Then go and treat yourself with homemade apple pie and custard, sticky toffee pudding or another tantalizing pudding.
We are small enough to cater for individual dietary needs, but experienced enough to cater for large functions such as weddings and funerals.
Being a Free-House makes us unique, which allows us to offer fine wines from our extensive cellar and Classic English Ales from small independent brewers such as Theakstone’s Old Peculiar to Sharps, Bowman, Palmers, Dark star, Windsor and Eton and Timothy Taylors.
