Describing his cooking as 'complex, carefully crafted and very technical but not intimidating' Michael's style has familiar classical themes with all flavours staying true to themselves.
Michael joined The Latymer in November 2007 from The Devonshire Arms Hotel in North Yorkshire and just over a year later in January 2009 the restaurant was awarded its first Michelin star and four AA rosettes.
2011 saw Michael Wignall at The Latymer become one of only eight restaurants in the UK to be awarded the highly prestigious accolade of 5 AA Rosettes. Shortly after, in October 2012, Michael Wignall at The Latymer was awarded its second Michelin star.
Michael's natural flair in the kitchen, expertise and passion for food has led to the restaurant fast becoming one of the finest places to dine in the country.
