The Mental Diet is a source of information and tools to use in our life's everyday. By feeding our minds some 'good stuff' we can over ride the negativity with positivity.
Our Bodies and Minds are not separate. Everything we think or feel will resonate in a part of our bodies. This is why we get ill when we are stressed or overly anxious.
The Mental Diet can help you manage the bombardment of the rubbish being fed to us day in, day out, from the media and other sources. Eat this, don't eat that! Believe this, don't believe that! Be afraid? The world is an awful place! There's no money! Austerity! The NHS is in Crisis! There's no point!
Also, what 'rubbish' are we feeding our own minds? I'm not good enough, She/He is better than me, I look awful, My 'x' is too small/too big, I can't do this, What if something goes wrong? I'm just not strong enough etc. etc. Any of this sound familiar?
We also need to be feeding our minds and bodies the correct nutrition to have a healthy lifestyle, reduce stress and anxiety.
