|Mission||Our mission is to build a just and equitable society and create lasting community change through the development of solution-oriented programs and policy initiatives that eliminate the root causes of homelessness.|
The Family Resource Center can help you with:
o Housing placement and case management.
o Linkage and advocacy with HASA (HIV Aids Service Administration), FEPS (Family Eviction Prevention Subsidy) and other subsidy programs.
o Assistance in applying and navigating supportive housing options such as NYNY III (New York, New York 3)
o Access to Legal referrals and linkages.
• Family Services:
o Case management, supportive housing and educational workshops.
o Financial assistance and mediation for housing needs.
o Linkage and advocacy for entitlements and benefits.
•Educational Rights Project:
o Free Educational Advocacy and Support for parents with children K-12
o Resources to navigate PATH (Prevention Assistance and Temporary Housing)
o Assistance with Issues related to school transportation, special education, disciplinary hearing, and school transfers.
• Health Initiative:
o Health and treatment educational group sessions.
o Individual case management.
o Health Care referrals and benefit linkages.
o Peer escorting and health care navigation.
