The Trap Books Tue/Thu/Fri/Sat - Sun/Mon may be available under ideal circumstances (local support, unique artists, etc.)

TRAP FREE CONCERT SERIES - On TUESDAYS over the last few years I have been having success by doing FREE shows. I can offer $50 - $75 and more if we get a good crowd as I still have some production costs and such (I generally try to get acts $100). Bands have seemed pretty satisfied with this arrangement and most contact me for a return visit to The Trap. UPDATE - I am also including THURSDAYS for Free shows as above. No Locals Needed for Tue/Thu shows.

With a lack of locals at the moment I am willing to host some shows for bands seeking routing dates. You will still need to try and contact a local or at least and area band (KC, Lawrence, Manhattan, etc.) But we may be able to help you out as long as we have at least two bands for the bill.

By accepting a performance date at The Boobie Trap your band understands that they will not book a Topeka show 2 weeks before or a week after the agreed upon date with discussing the situation with Brian. There are many situations that would be fine but for the good of everyone The Trap needs to know about any situations that is going to hurt your draw.

(SEE MIC ETIQUETTE BELOW). We have an in house system that is set up and ready to go. There is no need for sound checking. The first artist will sound check for the last artist as they will use the same channels.
