|About||The Washington Auto Show® brings over 600 new cars, truck, mini-vans and sport utility vehicles from over 35 domestic and import automakers to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.|
The mission of the Washington Auto Show is to operate as the “Public Policy Show,” unique on the global industry circuit because of its proximity to the U.S. Congress, international diplomatic corps and Federal agencies. Global manufacturers will focus on this show, as its producers will facilitate an annual dialogue, at the highest levels, between industry leaders and public policymakers on issues affecting the automotive industry.
To stimulate interest, promote relevance and create goodwill, the Washington Area New Automobile Dealers Association (WANADA) will produce a world class showcase and leverage the strengths of its retail automobile business leaders in the Washington D.C. region. Beneficiaries will include new vehicle consumers, show attendees, affiliated community and educational causes, participating manufacturers and the many thousands of WANADA dealer member employees.
Designated one of the nation’s top five auto shows by the International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers, The Washington Auto Show®, a world class event, continues to wow audiences with its cutting-edge exhibits, latest model cars and displays of historic vehicles.
As the “Public Policy Show” on the auto show circuit, the 10-day public show is preceded by two Public Policy Preview Days of special events and announcements for officials in government, industry and the media.
The Washington Auto Show is also the largest public show in Washington, D.C. Over the course of its many years this beloved and historic D.C. tradition has attracted Washingtonians of all stripes – and political affiliations. Visitors enjoy the annual trek to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center for the entertainment, as much as for the experience of viewing the hundreds of cars on exhibit.
At the 2017 Washington Auto Show we invited attendees to "Find Your Next Car!" Along with the engineering prowess on display among the more than 600 new models from over 35 manufacturers, featured VIP tours led by award-winning automotive writers and a special exhibit area for live painting of “art” cars, "Art of Motion". As a bonus, there were onsite visits from sports personalities and mascots, a Family Fun Zone and a Refueling Station sponsored by Jeep and featuring products by Samuel Adams.
We invite you to join us for another powerful show experience at the 2018 Washington Auto Show, January 26 - February 4, 2018!
