The Yoga Folk is a yoga studio that is for ALL- an inclusive, affordable place to learn and challenge your total self: body and mind. We believe in
connecting with our students; giving individualized attention to detail in the practice, and creating a non-intimidating environment at the studio.
We offer 3 different class styles for all levels:
Power Vinyasa Yoga (Power 75) is a 75-minute,
total-body athletic practice where students flow from one posture to the next at a vigorous pace.
Traditional Hot Yoga (Heal 60) is a 60-minute, softer, slower-paced practice for the joints; focusing on developing balance and strengthening the spine.
Restore (60 minutes) a gentle, quiet, restful, and relaxing yoga practice that focuses on the connective tissue in the body. All of the practice is on the floor and postures held for longer periods of time. Props can be used, such as blankets, pillows, and blocks while the lights are dimmed with soft music/sound playing. Students feel very rested after practice; it's a chance to clear your mind and reset your body, letting go of outside distractions and stimuli.
