The Tobago Agricultural Society (TAS) is a non- governmental organization which seeks to represent, support and promote the interest of its members in the agricultural sector by “providing a voice for farmers while aiding to increase food availability and affordability in Tobago.”
The TAS is governed by an Executive Management Team comprising of nine (9) members elected at an Annual General Meeting by the organization’s financial members. This Team comprises of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer, Public Relations Officer and three (3) Trustees.
Membership to the TAS is open to farmers from the age of sixteen (16) years and any individual/organization/group interested in promoting agriculture.
