|About||Toddlers International Nursery DSO aims to promote a secure and stimulating early years education experience for children from 6 months to 4 years of age.|
Toddlers International Nursery DSO first opened its doors in January 2016. Since then the nursery has flourished into a second home for many of our children. Here at Toddlers International Nursery we strive to offer our children a secure, caring and nurturing environment which enables them to develop the ability to:
Love and respect those around them
Develop their curiosity and enthusiasm for learning
Show empathy and integrity
Become effective communicators
Have confidence and become independent
We have 8 rooms that cater for all ages and abilities, starting from 6 months all the way through to 4 years of age.
Our Baby room is specifically designed around your child’s very early stages, offering cleanliness, security and most of all lots of loving care. Staff ratios are maintained at all times and every effort will be made to ensure routines from home are continued at nursery as much as possible.
When you feel your child is ready, they will then start the transition into our Nursery programme. This will offer more varied and challenging activities for their age and ability, and mixing with new children will build on their personal, social and emotional development as well as communication and language skills. Activities are varied and include, water play, sand play, painting, play dough, sticking, mark making, sensorial activities, dancing, singing and role play opportunities.
Our Foundation Programme offers Pre-School education which encourages the children to become more independent and to have a bigger involvement in their own learning in preparation for their transition to big school. During this time the children are introduced to the Jolly Phonics programme and developing their knowledge of the alphabet.
When planning activities we always work within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which incorporates:
