Crème brûlée and nothing but crème brûlée :)
New concept, never been done in south africa...very popular in the us and australia.
The brûlée are baked the night before the market, then refrigerated, before we whip out the blowtorch to scorch the desserts to order. Patrons love the theatrics of the torching.
Flavours are seasonal and rotate, but the classic french vanilla bean will remain a constant on the menu.
Other flavours include salted caramel, dark chocolate and peppermint, whatever else is in season!
