Formed when a group of water users organized together to construct a pressure irrigation system. The water users collectively held water rights out of Trail Creek, Moose Creek, Game Creek and Warm Creek. These water rights were all transferred to the irrigation company and transfer applications were filed on the water rights so that they could divert water into a pressure irrigation system. Some water rights date back to 1889.
To provide irrigation water to our stock holders all thru our season which generally runs April 15th thru October 15th in a cost effective way
Ownership within the organization is based upon ownership of shares of stock. Each share of stock represents an acre of land irrigated under the system. Irrigators cannot buy and sell shares of stock. The shares of stock are attached to specific parcels of land. No shares of stock are available to anyone outside of the organization. TCSIC bills twice a year- May 15th for operations and maintenance and November 15th which makes the federal loan payments that built the system.
