As a life-long fitness enthusiast, I followed my passion and became a certified personal trainer to encourage others to incorporate healthy eating and exercise into their daily lives. Upon receiving my certification from NFPT, I began my fitness career at Gold’s Gym. After gaining valuable experience, I founded Train4Life. I train clients in my private fitness studio in Leesburg, as well as a wellness center located in Lansdowne. My experience includes working with beginners, more seasoned fitness enthusiasts and post-surgical clients who are trying to regain their strength, mobility and improve overall fitness.
I take great pride in helping clients achieve their health and fitness goals. To accomplish this, I design customized nutrition and fitness plans based on goals and any unique restrictions. I place great importance on creating an energetic, supportive environment in which clients thrive.
The work outs are based on the 4 components of fitness:
This method is called Functional Training, which has been shown to lead to better muscular balance, joint stability and core strength. As a result, clients will transform their entire body by strengthening joints, muscles and increasing bone density.
On a personal note, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008. As a survivor, I can identify with the many challenges of the journey, both mentally and physically. My background as a personal trainer was instrumental in my own rehabilitation and gave new perspective on how vital strength training is for a healthy body and mind. I feel very fortunate to have had the knowledge, ability and discipline to train myself to be stronger than I was prior to the diagnosis. My experience has inspired me to pursue a new MISSION:
