|About||Two Bald Bakers is a small artisan bakery specializing in ancient grain baking. We provide unique bread and pastry made out of locally sourced ingredients. Our mission is to re-connect people with their food, we take you from seed to loaf.|
Bread is broken! But it doesn’t have to be that way - Imagine a loaf of bread that has no added sugars and does not affect people with gluten sensitivity.
Two Bald Bakers is a small artisan bakery that supplies the Tri-Cities and Lower Mainland with healthy, delicious sourdough breads and pastry. Our bread is made from sustainably grown, local, organic ancient grains. Our bakers are so committed to creating authentic bread, they even mill their own flour!
This is our commitment to our customers:
1. On-site freshly milled flour, milled from local, organic ancient grains and heirloom Canadian wheat varieties (no modern wheat, no roller-mill white flour).
2. The sole use of natural wild yeast (no commercial yeast in any product).
3. Refrain from using harmful ingredients (such as refined sugars, baking improvers and added preservatives).
Our mission is to reconnect people with real, honest, simple food. We do it through the craft of baking.
This connection, from farmer to consumer, from seed to loaf, is in the center of everything we do. It threads through our values and practices, and defines our relationship with anyone we do business with.
