UCL Undergraduate Preparatory Certificates (UPC) are intensive and challenging foundation courses for international students whose home qualifications do not allow direct admission to an undergraduate programme. The UPC provides you with the essential academic and languages skills, knowledge and support to progress confidently and smoothly onto an undergraduate degree at UCL or other top UK universities. In addition to undergraduate preparation, we offer a number of Graduate Preparation Courses (GPC), including an International Pre-Master’s, a Pre-Master’s Certificate in Architecture and Pre-sessional English.
These courses provide international students with the necessary linguistic, academic and research skills needed to succeed at graduate level and enable students to fulfill the English language proficiency requirements for entry onto Master's degrees at UCL and some at other UK universities.
