The USO of NC operates five centers in Jacksonville/Camp Lejeune, Raleigh-Durham International Airport, Charlotte-Douglas International Airport, Fayetteville Regional Airport, Fort Bragg, and throughout the state with our Mobile Unit.
The mission of the USO - NC is to lift the spirits of the troops and their families and to enhance the quality of life of U.S. Armed Forces personnel and their families within our geographic boundaries. We do this by providing critical health and human services that address current and emerging needs and create a cooperative relationship between U.S. military communities and the supporting civilian communities.
The USO of North Carolina is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization. While chartered by the national USO, it is a separate operating entity and is largely self-funded by donations and operated by a small core of full-time employees and a network of approximately 700 volunteers throughout the state of North Carolina.
