Venice United Methodist Church of Venice, California, is a member of the California-Pacific Conference within the United Methodist Church and serves the western Los Angeles area.
We meet every Sunday morning at 10:30am which is livestreamed around the world! You may find us on YouTube under Venice United Methodist (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCR2l6EV11CazRcX4lgduMSg). Our services include A Call to Worship, Scripture Reading, Prayer, Meditation, Music, Message & Teaching, Giving, and a Benediction.
Every Wednesday night at 7pm, we have a call-in Prayer Line for those who live close and far. Please email us if you have any prayer requests or would like to be included to pray with others in unity, for their is great power in agreement.
Ministry Programs include Wisdom Circle, Shabbat Night - a church family bonding time, United Women (Women's Ministry), Music Ministry, the Mary and Martha Project (Hunger and Homeless Ministry), Prayer Ministry Teleconference Call, Yearly Conference, Discipleship Classes, Youth Summer Program, and Counseling.
Our Pastor, Benedicta Ogbonnaya, started in ministry while still very young as a street evangelist, took her zeal for the Lord with her MBA into the corporate world, and now ministers full-time in Venice, California. She is available for all types of counseling, but we do request setting up an appointment first so that she may give you her undivided attention.

|Founded||The Church was founded in 1913, under the name “First Methodist Church of Venice” and held first services to the community at the Venice City Hall on January 6, 1913 with Rev. James T. Cope as the pastor.|
|Products||Pastor Ogbonnaya creates an unique collection of anointing oils and body fragrances that are for sale in the church office. Various books are also on sale on site written by her husband, Dr Ogbonnaya.|
