|About||The Vernon Pickleball Association is a non-profit society that was registered and incorporated under the B.C Society Act on November 27, 2014. As of April 1, 2018 we have approximately 320 members.|
- To promote all aspects of Pickleball in the Vernon area and to provide the membership with an empowering and clear structure based upon policies and guidelines that ensure members an enjoyable experience.
- To promote the sport of pickleball in a safe and respectful environment.
- To provide the opportunity for all members to learn and improve their play.

~ Our Process ~
Membership with the VPA runs Oct 1 – Sept 30.
Membership renewal is required each year.
The cost for the 2017/2018 Membership season is $30 (subject to change.)
Breakdown = $5.00 Pickleball Canada, $5.00 Outdoor Dedicated Courts project, $20 VPA.
The VPA membership fee is not pro-rated.
Benefits of VPA Membership:
Organized play whether it be competitive or recreational
Courts rented for fall/winter and spring/summer season sessions
Members only may purchase Monthly, 10 X Punch, and/or “Summer Play” passes
Nets and balls provided
Organized education & clinics for players of all levels
The VPA membership application process:
As Pickleball is a unique sport with its own set of rules (International Federation of Pickleball), scoring system and technical skills, those new to pickleball must complete a set of Beginner lessons prior to their VPA membership application submission.
Those individuals with pickleball experience may directly apply for membership:

Bring to a VPA Host for screening and payment during a VPA play session.
Payment options include:
E-transfer to firstname.lastname@example.org
Cheque – payable to the VPA
CASH – exact as hosts do not have change
NOTE: please be aware that due to limited play venues and rental time allotment by Vernon Parks and Recreation and School District 22, the Indoor Season from Oct 1 – April 30, may be capped to ensure a safe and efficient pickleball play experience.
