We have 300+ members in west-central Indiana, and seek to provide education and enrichment of the natural world through community outreach and engagement.
Our mission is to promote the enjoyment and protection of birds and other wildlife through recreation, education, conservation and restoration.
The mission of the National Audubon Society is to conserve and restore natural ecosystems, focusing on birds, other wildlife, and their habitats for the benefit of humanity and the Earth’s biological diversity.
The mission of the Wabash Valley Audubon Society is the same as the N.A.S. mission. Additionally to further this mission WVAS is involved in appropriate projects to conserve and restore natural ecosystems, interact with other local organizations and groups with similar concerns, and provide educational opportunities to the local community to increase their awareness, appreciation, and involvement in the natural world that surrounds them.
