In memory of Michael Chapman and to raise awareness of violence in our communities.
This page has been created to assist with the promotion of all Walk With Michael fund raising activities and the P.O.C.A.V (Protect Our Communities Against Violence) campaign.
If you care about the way anti-social behaviour among teenagers is affecting others' lives and believe that something needs to be done to put a stop to it, please show your support by becoming a fan.
Michael Chapman was a vibrant and life-loving teenager who was tragically taken from his family during an unprovoked attack by Lee Cowie (then 18) on the 16th June 2006, aged just 16.
He was ambushed by Cowie from behind with two accomplices, Cowie punched and kicked Michael in the head as he walked home with his brother, David, following a night out.
Michael died from his injuries in the playing field where he was attacked, cradled in his brother's arms.
While Lee Cowie, responsible for Michael's death walks free, having served just two years of a four year sentence for Manslaughter, his family suffers the pain of no longer having their precious son and brother in their lives.
