About Welcome to Warminster and District Angling Club. The club was formed in 1961. The club is now in its 56th year and has around 300 members.

Description The club has 5 waters; Crockerton lake, 2 lakes at Witham Friary, Berkley and a lovely stretch of the River Frome. Members can also enjoy the fishing at many of our neighbouring clubs with our exchange ticket program. Details of the clubs that we have exchange tickets for can be found on our website at www.thewdac.co.uk

The club offers fantastic fishing for all anglers whether you're a carp angler, after the silver fish and tench, or want to go for some of the predatory species. More details of the species can be found in the club waters section of our Website.

Membership subscriptions prices can be found in the Produces section of this page. Memberships are paid on an annual basis and run from 16th of June to 15th of June. Memberships can be purchased from Steve's Tackle. To obtain club membership a current Environment Agency fishing licence for Non migratory Trout and Coarse fish must be produced.

Members can sign in a guest at a cost of £8 per day (8am to 6pm), or £16 for 24 hours. River guest tickets are £5 dawn til dusk. Guest tickets must be purchased from Steve's tackle in advance, and the guests current EA licence must be produced at the time of purchase.

The next Annual General Meeting will be held on Friday 18th May 2018 at Hunters Moon Warminster. All members are invited to attend. General committee meetings are held every two months, the dates will be published on this site when appropriate.

Club Rules
1. Membership and rod licence to be carried at all times when fishing and must be shown when asked by any other member who shows their membership.
2. Nets and slings to be dipped before fishing at Crockerton. All equipment to be thoroughly dried before moving between venues.
3. No litter, any litter in your swim even if it's not yours is your responsibility. Please pick it up. Anyone found littering might face a ban.
4. Barbless hooks only, except when fishing for pike/perch when semi barbed trebles may be used.
