The Webster Surgical Center, LLC, cost over $2.5 million to construct and currently employs 10 full-time employees and a “host” of part-time employees, consultant, and advisors. The Webster Surgical Center, LLC, is in collaboration with the University of Texas at Houston. Mayo Clinic-Rochester, University of Tokyo and other institutions of higher learning in the United States of America – not the least of which includes our own Florida A&M University – College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and Schools of Allied Health and Public Health.
The Webster Surgical center, LLC, provides service for the Big Bend coverage area consisting over 2.1 million people. In addition to providing all of the standard endoscopic procedures we also provide the Pillcam - endocapsule for detecting obscure bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract without surgical intervention.
