Wit Cellars Story
Following their dreams, three friends came together; full of talent, ideas, and the passion to create Wit Cellars.
Wit Cellars Team: experienced, knowledgeable, and committed.
Flint Nelson, after twenty-six years of winemaking in the Washington wine industry, longed to culminate the unique characteristics from the best wine growing regions, and the best winegrowers. At Wit Cellars, he is committed to artfully crafting outstanding wines, which respect the elegance of each region, and the talents of each wine grower.
Carolina “Cat” Warwick, brings twenty years of wide spread experience in a variety of roles, within the wine industry. She has been making wine for almost a decade, and has had the privilege of working with world-class vineyards and winegrowers. She worked closely with Flint for over four years. They have forged a strong bond as a winemaking team, and complement each other well. She is passionate and excited about the amazing wines Wit is creating.
Gina Adams Royer fell in love with the process of winemaking, while stomping grapes in her Italian stepfather’s garage. A growing passion drew her to tasting room management, appreciation of fine wines, meaningful relationships with wine lovers, and the love of hospitality. She is committed to five star hospitality and presenting outstanding wines as the perfect complement to any occasion.
Wit Cellars—–Why Wit?
Our ‘WIT’ derives from the definition: Intelligent humor complementary to intelligent conversation.
Wit speaks to thoughtful, meaningful interactions with friends, a lightness of mood, and certain elegance of style–which is the spirit of Wit Cellars. Alexander Pope defined ‘drink’ as the “Feast of Reason and the Flow of Soul”………….So it is at Wit Cellars.
