WHO Thailand is the country office of the World Health Organization, a UN specialized agency, which collaborates with the Royal Thai Government, the UN Country Team, and other partners towards maximum health development in Thailand.
WHO has had a country office in Thailand for more than 60 years. It collaborates closely with the official public health agencies of the Royal Thai Government and other relevant partners in implementing the strategic agenda described in the WHO Country Cooperation Strategy - Thailand 2012-2016 (http://whothailand.healthrepository.org/handle/123456789/1125). Aside from the WHO Country Team, WHO in Thailand also has regional staff dedicated to the Mekong Malaria Programme (MMP), vaccine quality, and water/sanitation.
