The WVU College of Commerce was born by order of the state higher education board on Nov. 10, 1951 and has been known as the College of Business and Economics since 1971.
June 2012: The University Sales Education Foundation named WVU B&E a 2012 Top University for Professional Sales Education. WVU's Professional Sales Institute is now ranked in the USEF Top North American Sales Schools.
March 2012: Bloomberg Businessweek- Top 100 undergraduate business schools in the U.S.
January 2012: Online MBA program ranks in the first-ever online education rankings by U.S. News & World Report. Out of 156 programs, our online MBA ranked #27 in faculty credentials and training, #33 in teaching practices and student engagement, #40 in admissions selectivity and #89 in student services and technology.
