The College of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences at West Virginia University promotes active participation in sport and wellness across the life span. The College of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences prepares future professionals in the areas of athletic training, athletic coaching, sport management, physical education teacher education, and sport and exercise psychology. Graduates find employment in the fields of athletic training, coaching, sport marketing, teaching, administration, and wellness/fitness programs.
|Awards||CPASS has discovered new ideas and cultures, internationalizing the curriculum and increasing faculty and student exchanges. Recent student travel includes visits to Brazil, Chile, the United Kingdom, and Denmark, while international scholars from China, Sweden, and Brazil have come to CPASS. Faculty members are recognized within the state, U.S. and internationally for research and academic contributions to sport sciences and physical activity.|
