|About||The classes explore a range of postures (asanas) and introduce breath-control techniques (pranayama) leaving students with a solid base of practice and understanding.|
Well located in the heart of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, a neighbourhood of Montreal located in the city's West End.
Although students may join at any time, the classes are organized in 12-week terms. This is to provide a structured and stable learning environment.
These classes explore a range of postures (asana) and introduce breath-control techniques (pranayama), a practice that allows us a deeper insight into our body. The fundamental postures are taught with attention to alignment and postural adjustment, and are catered to each individual's needs. The goal is for the students to obtain a solid base of both practice and understanding.
The classes are suitable for all except people with serious medical conditions who may consider private yoga sessions (yoga therapy).
All classes are taught by Josephine Vittoria, certified yoga instructor since 2012. To learn more about the instructor, visit josephinevittoria.com/about
