We are dedicated to making optimal health a reality for all women.
Our work aims to empower women to prioritize their health and live up to her full health potential.
We hold a semi-annual hair-cutting event, the Big Chop to Stop Cancer. Brave women cut their hair to raise awareness about health disparities in their communities. They serve as walking billboards that promote individual health empowerment and health advocates in their communities.
The Exposures Project is a multi-media arts and education program that presents unflinching portraits of minority women's health in America. The project explores stereotypes about disease, race, and gender; taboos about healing, and cultural constructions of wellness. Ultimately, the Project provides an authentic look at women's health.
