|Quienes somos||For less than a cup of coffee a day, you can heal lives by helping us provide free community-health outreach, sponsorship, training & referrals year round.|
Project Heal of SBC a 501(c)(3) organization was created to help spread awareness on how the power of Integrative Medicine, the Arts and Holistic Nursing practices can come together holistically to help assist individuals to the path of healing the mind, body and soul through strategic community outreach events.
As a grassroots organization we aspire to empower those suffering from mental illness, disabilities, and loneliness as well as those desiring to enhance their already healthy lifestyles.
We also aspire to help tear down stigmas, attitudes and social bias, towards those suffering in silence with mental illness which in turn prohibits them to seek professional help or advice in a timely fashion.
The project currently offers community outreach events focusing on health & wellness campaigns this includes;
Dance group therapy workshops, photography, traveling, health literacy campaigns, volunteerism w/community partners including collaborative dance performances with other non-profits and online outreach.
Our How: We offer free to low cost classes to underserved communities via outreach events & workshops thus inspiring hope, empowerment, motivation, self-love, better self-care management and enhanced social awareness. By offering community outreach projects such as "Health & Healing M.E℠" our outreach aspires to assist individuals & to promote healing that integrates the mind, body & soul of the participant.
Our Why: We exist to help individuals get out of their own head space by helping others, to tear down stigmas and attitudes towards those suffering in silence and to promote and enhance our own self-care management.
Our Values: Connect. Empathy. Relationships. Trust. Transform.
